Philip Milne

BIO

Philip worked on APIs for the J2SE platform at Sun from 1996 - 2001. In 2001 he returned to England as the CTO of DrKW (now Commerzbank). In 2011 he came back to engineering; joining the Android framework team at Google in Mountain View, CA. Some say that he has spent too long working on Java APIs and that this is the cause of his unhealthy interest in functional programming. Philip holds a PhD in Computer Science/Mathematics and is the co-founder of mindsilver.com.
